Beading in Circular Peyote Stitch
Become familiar with the circular peyote stitch and begin making a beaded talking stick. I invented the beaded bone Talking Stick using ribs from caribou and moose, but we will use branches. Talking sticks are used in traditional First Nations’ circles: the person holding the stick is the one who gets to speak! These sticks have a character all their own, and are meditative and surprisingly dimensional. They are lovely to handle and bead. All levels.
