Beaded Embellishment
In this class you learn how to create fabulous quilts and textile art with a variety of beaded embroidery stitches. You will find out about different types of beads, threads and needles. There are so many great ways to add shimmery bling to your textile art work, some subtle and delicate, others bold and eye-catching. All levels.
In the morning class you learn how to embellish quilts and textile art with beaded embroidery. After lunch we practice the circular peyote stitch and begin making a beaded talking stick. Talking sticks are used in First Nations’ circles. A small variety of beads, thread and needles are included in the price.
